Data Destruction

Using special software approved by the U.S. Department of Defense, ecochip erases all data from computer equipment as an essential part of the process. Ecochip does not observe data under any circumstances.

For guaranteed and confidential data destruction purposes (also known as Data Wiping) and upon request ecochip can produce a detailed data destruction certificate for the equipment presented for recycling. This service is offered in order to offer peace of mind that resident data has been completely and effectively destroyed.

Ecochip sometimes levies a minimal charge per item for guaranteed data destruction services (also known as Data Wiping) especially if low value equipment is involved or an increased charge for its on-site data destruction services.
